Do you want to contribute to the development of an international center for research and innovation in processes and products for a sustainable bio-based economy? Do you have a good ability to analyze and map development needs of small and large companies active in the field of bioeconomy?

Then there is an interesting job for you at RISE Processum AB in Örnsköldsvik.

About the role
RISE Processum hosts a cluster in biorefinery and bioeconomy and is now looking for someone who can work with our various offers and services for both large and small companies. It is primarily about actively working with identified challenges at the companies that are connected to the cluster and other companies in the network that could benefit from being part of the cluster community.

This is done by analyzing and understanding the companies' needs and then supporting the companies on the road to commercialization via both internal or external offers and services. You should have a scientific and technical background as well as a good understanding of the challenges that exist in research, development, innovation, and commercialization of new value chains in biorefinery and bioeconomy. RISE Processum is a project-driven organization and as part of the Innovation Systems Group, it is therefore also a part of the role to run projects to promote cooperation and innovation in the field of biorefinery.

It also falls within the role of working to initiate new projects together with the cluster's actors and finance them through regional, national, and European funding programs. This means actively participating in or leading the work with new applications or quotes. In addition to this, you will be helping in other cluster activities such as events, workshops and developing innovation strategies and communication materials.

Who are you?
We are looking for you who have several years of experience of working with small and large companies in bioeconomy and biorefinery. You have experience of writing applications for funding for national and European research and innovation programs. It is also an advantage with experience of cluster operations and project management. Experience of innovation support for small and medium-sized companies is particularly meritorious and it is an advantage if you have a well-developed network within the innovation system in Sweden in general and in the bioeconomy. You have a relevant academic degree as a basis. You are self-motivated and solution oriented. You are easy to collaborate with and make new contacts, both internally and externally. Good communicative ability in both Swedish and English is a requirement.
