An important part of our remit is to make our national and international research visible to clients, partners and funders. As a project communicator you will contribute to strengthening the RISE brand, as well as strategically and operationally managing communicative work in different areas. You will work in an interdisciplinary and creative environment. Our projects range from brief assignments to major national and international research projects.

About the role
Your responsibility will be strategic planning, practical implementation and evaluation of communicative ventures. You will keep your eye on what is happening globally, so as to position RISE within our research and innovation areas. You will develop, implement and follow up communicative plans and analyze the impact of various communicative ventures. The work will also include identification of various arenas for demonstration, production and publishing of content such as film, photographs and text adapted to various channels such as internal and external websites, newsletters and social media. You will collaborate closely with project managers, relevant employees, the division's head of communication and our partners.

You will report to the vice-president, will work on behalf of project managers and will be included in project management. The placement is in Borås and the role will include a fair amount of travel, mainly within Sweden.

Who are you?
You wish to work strategically and proactively in the field of communication. You're passionate about getting the business to understand how communication can create value through the content you create. You have completed higher education in the field of communication or equivalent, and have a background as a communicator, web editor, content manager, copywriter or journalist. You have at least five years’ experience of strategic communicative work, with documented sound experience of producing targeted messages and texts – preferably also moving material. You have a very good understanding of what is new, and the ability to translate research results into targeted communication with a big impact. You have experience of work using digital channels, and have an easy command of spoken and written English and Swedish.

As a person, you are curious and driven by understanding and explaining complex issues. You make things happen, and are quick and results-oriented. You enjoy contacts and networks, and are able to establish them quickly. You are humble and collaborative, and used to working independently.
