Ingenjör inom energiteknik med fokus på elektrokemi

Do you want to work with characterization of carbon materials, plan and execute experiments in thermochemical pilot plants and work with evaluations? Maybe you are the one we are looking for?

RISE is expanding in the field of bioeconomy and we are now looking for a new colleague who wants to be a part of the development towards a future circular and fossil-free society. We work in close cooperation with industry and researchers worldwide. Together, we generate and refine research results and ideas based primarily on forest raw materials.

RISE Energy Technology Center (ETC) performs research covering our thematic focus areas of sustainable hydrocarbon fuels, carbon free energy solutions, computer-based process optimization and high value-added materials. Within our business there are currently around 30 employees, mainly researchers, engineers and technical staff.

Your role
You will contribute to the work in RISE ETC:s electrochemistry lab and in other pilot installations connected to thermochemical processes. You will be part in different project groups and the work has an experimental focus.

The work includes the following parts:

  • Characterization of carbon materials
  • Preparation and lab-scale production of e.g. supercapacitor prototypes and electrochemical characterization
  • Planning and executing experiments in thermochemical pilot plants
  • Evaluation and documentation of results

Who are you?
We are looking for a candidate with an engineering degree and a background of energy technology, chemistry, physics, material science or related subjects. Lab experiences and experience of electrochemistry and especially supercapacitors are meritorious. Good spoken and written English is required.

You are a driven person and a problem solver. You are not afraid to take on new challenges and have the ability to identify what needs to be done.

Are we right for each other?
