CFD engineer - Hiring in process/Finished, not possible to apply

About the position
RISE Energy Technology Center (RISE ETC) conducts research in the areas of sustainable fuels, fossil-free energy solutions, computer-based process optimization and high value-added materials. Most of our projects are of an applied nature and take place in close collaboration with companies and organizations. In recent years, our business has expanded significantly, and we are now looking for a CFD engineer who can strengthen our team in process modeling. Our projects often include both theoretical modeling and experimental campaigns, and we develop new methods and experimental setups to find answers to our current research questions. You will participate in the development and application of numerical models in our research projects, mainly within the areas of thermochemical processes and electrification of the process industry. Depending on your background and interest, related experimental experiments may also be part of your work tasks.

The location for the role is in Piteå.

Who are you?
You have at least a MSc in physics, energy, mechanics, chemistry and / or related areas. You have experience in fluid dynamics and CFD modeling. You have experience of relevant software and frameworks (eg Ansys, Open FOAM), and have preferably applied these in thermochemical processes (combustion, gasification, liquefaction). We welcome applications from newly degreed engineers as well as from experienced specialists. As a person, you are driven and structured. You are a good problem solver and can work independently. Good knowledge of English in speech and writing is required. Knowledge of Swedish is meritorious.
