About the position
Right now, we are investing in a new pilot hall with a comprehensive research infrastructure within the field of biorefinery from lab up to pilot scale, where electrochemistry is one of the focus areas.

As an organic electrochemist at RISE Processum, you will mainly work with development and research together with industrial partners. Your work will be performed in a team where collaboration with researchers and professionals not only within RISE, but also with companies, other R&D organizations and universities are important parts of the job.

It also consists of:

• building networks
• writing research applications
• creating new customer projects
• managing projects
• development and building of new processes in laboratory and pilot scale

Who are you?
We are looking for a candidate with a solid background in electrochemistry, by education or longer work experience, with experience in organic chemistry.  In addition, experience in writing research applications, project management and building consortia with other research groups is an advantage. Your personal qualities, as trustworthy, easy to collaborate with and a good communicator, are important, and we would like you to be a cooperative problem solver. Fluency in English is a requirement.

Biorefinery test bed
RISE Research Institutes of Sweden and the subsidiary RISE Processum are leading players in the development of the bioeconomy and biorefinery of the future. With a unique set of research areas, test beds and demonstration environments, we form a comprehensive solution for the conversion of biomass into green products, which have previously been fossil-based.
