Senior Researcher Organic Chemistry - Hiring in process/Finished, not possible to apply

Do you want to build research projects within the framework of sustainable development and develop new innovative biobased processes and products? Within the next year we are building new research infrastructure including chemical conversion from lab to pilot scale. We are now recruiting scientists ready to join our exciting journey! 

The position
As a chemist at RISE Processum, you will mainly work on creating new research and customer projects in areas such as chemical process development, flow chemistry, electrochemistry, hydrothermal liquefaction (HTL) or hydrothermal carbonization (HTC). Building networks, writing research applications, create new customer projects and managing projects are important parts of the job. You will collaborate with researchers and professionals not only within RISE, but also with companies, other R&D organizations and universities. The work will be performed in a team with focus of development and building of new processes in laboratory and pilot scale.

The position is based at RISE Processum in Örnsköldsvik.

Who are you?
We are looking for a candidate with a PhD degree in chemistry and a solid background in synthetic organic chemistry by education or longer work experience. Experience in writing research applications, project management and building consortia with other research groups nationally and internationally is a requirement. An extensive network of companies, institutes and universities is of great importance for the position. Your personal qualities are also of great significance and we would like you to be a cooperative problem solver. Fluency in English is a requirement.
