As our Industrial PhD student, you will be responsible for

  • identifying, defining, and classifying missions of marine vehicles, mapping mission requirements across various dimensions, and developing a mission suitability classification matrix,
  • creating an integrated functional requirement assessment method, scoring and ranking mission suitability,
  • verifying the framework using different types of marine vehicles currently in operation and
  • disseminating project outcomes

Who are you?
We are seeking a structured individual who is passionate about pushing the boundaries of maritime engineering. You should have the following qualifications:

  • A master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., maritime engineering, naval architecture, systems engineering)
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • A genuine interest in interdisciplinary research and a drive to solve complex problems

Work experience in the marine vehicle industry and with classification societies is considered an additional merit.
