About us
RISE Computer Science department is the leading Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence lab in Sweden. You will be joining a unit with a focus on distributed computing in the Edge to Cloud continuum working with Space, Quantum- and High Perfomance Computing. Together with partners and customers from industry and academia we develop sustainable and energy-efficient systems at the frontier of applied science.

About the role
You will have the opportunity to work at a leading and rapidly growing research institute with excellent development opportunities. You will contribute to Digital Earth Sweden, the Swedish Space Data Lab, ESA phi-lab Sweden and develop RISE's position and offering within Earth Observation and work with costumer relations and user needs. In this role, you will help strengthen Swedish and European sovereignty in digital and AI solutions for space. With a scientific mindset, you will engage in applied research, combining theory and practice. This position is a permanent, full-time employment.

You have:

  • a PhD in Earth Observation,
  • worked with innovation based on Earth Observation data,
  • experience from business development within the Earth Observation domain,
